This article is dedicated to all the Indian Soldiers/Military/Paramilitary or any defense personnel martyred serving the nation.
Anyone can contribute any amount (Minimum Rs 10 to Maximum Rs 15 Lakhs) directly to the account of the martyr’s family through the website https://bharatkeveer.gov.in .
The website is launched by the Union Home Ministry in collaboration with film-star Akshay Kumar.
We pay a lot of amount for luxury and other causes. But think once. If each citizen of the entire country of 1.311 Billion ( according to World Bank Report 2015 ) contribute only 100 Rs. for this noble purpose an amount approximately Rs 131 Billion can be accumulated. ( To be mentioned that today one cup of coffee or juice may cost Minimum Rs 100. at KFC / Mc Donalds / CCD ). So why not take a step to help those family who lost their beloved ones serving the nation and martyred to ensure our security. They sacrificed their lives so that we can live without tension. They are a part of our family too.
It may happen that every one of us might not have the ability to pay, but we can generate awareness among people. We can share the method at Facebook / Twitter / Whatsapp or any social media we access on a regular basis so that all those people who have the ability and scope to donate can do so. Any minor help will not go in vain.

Frankly speaking I was not aware of this facility even just a few hours ago. I came across an article of The Hindistan Times ( Read it HERE. Download the article in .pdf HERE ) which states "Over a week after BSF head constable Prem Sagar was beheaded by Pakistani intruders along the line of control in Jammu and Kashmir, his wife has received donations amounting to Rs 15 lakh through a website launched by the Union home ministry in collaboration with filmstar Akshay Kumar ". I felt this is worth sharing. And that is what I am doing.
According to The Hindistan Times Article :
" Officials said they received many enquiries from NRIs, rickshaw pullers and even school-going children on the mode of donating money through the website.
Though the payment gateway would not accept donations from abroad initially, the problem was soon sorted out. The Union home ministry has now written to the Reserve Bank of India to facilitate donations through Paypal for non-resident Indians who don’t have a domestic bank account.
“Encouraging response to Bharat Ke Veer website. Within a month the portal has received more than Rs 2 crore for helping martyrs’ families,” tweeted Union home minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday.
CRPF director in general Vijay Kumar, who is coordinating with the management of the website, told HT that more than 35,000 transactions have taken place on the website so far.
Details of 114 personnel from eight central paramilitary forces – the BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, Assam Rifles, NDRF, NSG and SSB – are currently displayed on the website. As per the available information, two dependents (the wife and three-year-old daughter) of Lt Colonel Niranjan EK, who was killed while sanitising the Pathankot airbase, have received Rs 8.51 lakh in donations so far.
While three dependents (the wife, mother and father) of CRPF constable N Senthil Kumar – who was killed in a Maoist attack on April 24 in Sukma – have received Rs 11.52 lakh until now, the wife, daughter and son of his colleague, Narayan Prasad Sonkar, benefited from funds amounting to Rs 5.17 lakh.
The mother of 24-year-old Arup Karmakar, who also died in the Sukma attack, has received Rs 3.04 lakh in donations. "

>> Guidelines: If you wish to support this cause <<
You can donate directly to individual braveheart’s account (upto max of Rs 15 lakhs) or may donate to the “Bharat Ke Veer” corpus.
To ensure maximum coverage, a cap of 15 lakhs is envisaged per braveheart and the donor would be alerted if the amount exceeds Rs 15 lakhs, so that they can choose to either decrease their contribution or divert part of the donation to another braveheart's account, or to the “Bharat Ke Veer” corpus.
“Bharat Ke Veer” corpus would be managed by a commitee made up of eminent persons of repute and senior government officials, in equal number, who would decide to disburse the fund equitably to the braveheart's family on need basis.
